This is on my (Marc) bucket list and I actually have a friend here in Penang who has done it three times. The scenery here is just astonishing ( as you can see from the pictures) and when my shape is a little less round then we are planning to do this trek.

The issue is more the altitude than the walking with heights over 5000 metres it can take some doing. but still a good two weeks ( at this age) needs to be put aside. If you don’t need that long then you can spend more time in Katmandu to explore as well.
